Mattia Scudellaro alias Matthew Skud was born in Rovigo in 1989.
Always fascinated by the night life world, he decided at the age of 15 to start his adventure in the club scene, first as a promoter to understand their dynamics and later as a DJ. Still underage, he took his first steps in the North-East Italian one-night and the rave party movement. He began to explore the Underground club culture. Matthew appreciated every nuance, trying to take in as much as possible from this experience and from the people he met on his journey.
As soon as he turned 18 he was contacted to perform in some Italian and European clubs, thus having the chance to play on the console and learn about artists who until then he had only been able to admire on records and in magazines. His performances were almost always recorded and broadcasted on radio and web radio relevant to his musical style, giving him the chance, thanks to the web, to broaden his horizons. By working together with various promoters and booking agencies that organize the shows, in 2009 he decided that it was time to start producing his own music, working together with artists and record labels spread around the globe, increasing exponentially his visibility. After some hard work and various sound experiments in 2011 he entered the charts of the best shop of electronic music such as Beatport, Nowtrax, Juno Download, TrackItDown, Djtunes, Decks and many others.
In the same year he met Nick Olivetti, a real icon of the European techno scene, the two are now on the same wavelength and a few months later he started working for Fish Rec UK, Nick’s label, first as an A&R then as a Label Manager. The same things happens with Andrea Mattioli of the Italian label Diva Records who hired him in 2013. In 2012, he entered the collective Electronic Fog based in Polesine,
a reference point for the national electronic music circuit, covering the role of the artist and Label Manager of the homonymous label. At the end of 2012 supported by trusted friends he founded Life Sentence Rec, a clear project with a sound line defined in publishing releases that end up in the DJs bags from around the world. The project is very ambitious and they are very confident because they are receiving many satisfactions. In the end of 2015 they decided to inaugurate Little Italy Music label, a satellite of the major LSR, where they begin experimenting whilst maintaining a very high quality.  A lover of hard work and of the most difficult challenges, like a true artist he never feels satisfied; his research will continue for a long time. Mattia Scudellaro alias Matthew Skud nasce a Rovigo nel 1989.
Da sempre affascinato dal mondo della notte, decide all’età di 15 anni di iniziare la sua avventura nel clubbing, prima come promoter per capirne le dinamiche e successivamente come DJ. Ancora minorenne muove i suoi primi passi nei rave party e one night del Nord-Est Italiano, iniziando così ad esplorare la club culture underground; Matthew ne apprezza ogni minima sfumatura, cercando di assimilare quanto maggiormente possibile dalle sue esperienze e dalle persone che incontra nel suo percorso. Appena maggiorenne viene contattato per esibirsi in alcuni club italiani ed europei, avendo così la possibilità di suonare in consolle e di fare la conoscenza di artisti che fino ad allora aveva potuto ammirare solo su dischi e riviste di settore. Le sue performance venivano quasi sempre registrate e trasmesse su radio e web radio pertinenti con il suo al suo stile musicale, avendo dunque la possibilità grazie al web di allargare il suo orizzonte, collaborando con vari promoter e agenzie di booking che gli organizzavano degli show.
Nel 2009 ha deciso che era il momento di iniziare a produrre musica propria collaborando con artisti ed etichette discografiche sparse per tutto il globo, aumentando esponenzialmente la sua visibilità. Dopo un pò di duro lavoro e varie sperimentazioni sonore nel 2011 entra nelle classifiche dei migliori shop di musica elettronica come Beatport, Nowtrax, Juno Download, TrackItDown, DJTunes, Decks e molti altri. Nello stesso anno conosce Nick Olivetti, vera e propria icona del panorama Techno europeo, i due capiscono di viaggiare sulla stessa lunghezza d’onda e pochi mesi dopo inizia a lavorare per Fish Rec UK etichetta dello stesso Nick, prima come A & R, poi come Label Manager. Lo stesso discorso vale anche per l’etichetta italiana Diva Records di Andrea Mattioli che lo ingaggia nel 2013.
Dal 2012 è entrato nel collettivo Electronic Fog con base nel Polesine ma punto di riferimento per il circuito nazionale di musica elettronica, ricoprendo il ruolo di artista e Label Manager dell’omonima label. A fine 2012 supportato da amici fidati fonda Life Sentence Rec, un progetto chiaro con una linea sonora definita nel pubblicare release che finiranno nelle dj bag di tutto il mondo. Il progetto è assai ambizioso ma sono fiduciosi considerando i molteplici obiettivi che stanno raggiungendo; verso la fine dell’anno 2015 decidono di inaugurare Little Italy Music etichetta satellite della major LSR, nella quale saranno aperte le sperimentazioni mantenendo comunque una qualità molto elevata.
Un’amante del duro lavoro e delle sfide più difficili, come un vero artista non si sente mai appagato; la sua ricerca continuerà ancora per molto tempo. Siete pronti a seguire la sua avventura?

Mattia Scudellaro alias Matthew Skud ist im Jahr 1989 in Rovigo, Italien, geboren. Seit jeher ist er von der Welt der Nacht fasziniert. Als er 15 Jahre alt war, hat er entscheiden, seine Abenteuer in clubbing zu beginnen. Zuerst als Förderer, hat er den Mechanismus dieser Welt verstanden, und dann, als DJ. Als er Minderjähriger war, hat er begonnen, in Rave Partys und in One Night im Nord-Ostitalien, die ersten Schritten zu machen und die underground Klubkultur zu entdecken.  Er würdigt jede kleine Schattierung und versucht, alles aus seiner Erfahrungen und aus Leute, die sich mit ihm in Verbindung setzen, anzunehmen. Als er Minderjähriger war, hat er in einige italienische und europäische Klubs aufgetreten. Er hat dort die Konsole gespielt und neue Artisten, die er bis dahin nur auf CDs und auf Zeitungen gesehen hatte, kennengelernt. Seine Performances sind immer registriert und auf Radio und Web gesendet worden. Er hat dann, durch dem Web und der Kollaboration mit Förderern und Reservierungsagenturen, seinen Horizont erweitern. Im Jahr 2009 hat er entscheiden, dass der Moment war, um seine Musik zu vorstellen. Er hat mit Artisten in der Schallplattenindustrie aus aller Welt mitgearbeitet. Seine Sichtbarkeit war dann exponentiell. Nach einigen Experimentieren, ist er im Jahr 2011 in Tabelle wie Beatport, Nowtrax, Juno Download, TrackItDown, DJTunes, Decks, usw. eingetreten. Immer im Jahr 2011, hat er Nick Olivetti, die wirkliche Ikone der europäischen Technomusik, kennengelernt. Er hat begonnen, in Fish Rec UK zu arbeiten. Zuerst als A & R und dann als Label Manager. Der Gleiche ist 2013 in Diva Records von Andrea Mattioli passiert. Seit 2012 ist er in dem Kollektiv Electronic Fog. Dieser Kolletiv hat seine Basis in Polesine, aber es ist ein Bezugspunkt für die italienische elektronische Musik. Hier ist er Artist und Label Manager. Am Ende des Jahres 2012 hat er mit einigen Freunden Life Sentence Rec gegründet. Das ist ein klares Projekt, um Verkaufslizenz in aller Welt zu veröffentlichen. Dieses Projekt ist sehr ehrgeizig, aber sie haben schon viele Freuden gehabt. Sie haben 2015 Little Italy Music, eine hochwertige Etikett der major LSR in der können sie auch ausprobieren, eröffnen. Matthew Skud liebt die schwierigsten Herausforderungen und auch viel zu arbeiten.
